Dear Parents,

Alsalam Alikum,

My name is Mustafa Alalusi, and I have been living in Arizona for 8 years, since then all praise is due to Allah I have had a great relationship with the Muslim teenage and youth in the community and I have always looked at them as the bright future and the carrier of the great and peaceful message of Islam to others. I have been blessed to be part of the FNO Program at ICEV as teacher for the last 2 years. I am so excited to start a new semester at FNO and to spend time with the youth.

  • Certified Life Coach from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Youth is a time of great change and hope for the future. It can be the happiest and the most productive time of a person’s life, yet this stage of development can also be fraught with numerous psychological, sociological, and spiritual crises. Because the young people of any society carry the future of their nations on their shoulders, their problems and troubles should be of utmost concern for everyone around them and solutions to these difficulties must be practical and concrete. As a teacher and part of FNO team I strive to use the Islamic perfect code of life which addresses human concerns at all stages of life along with my humble experience and knowledge to provide the youth with the support they need.

I have a strong belief in our youth and their abilities to create a positive impact within their communities through knowledge and community service and I am excited and motivated to support them in that journey and offer my humble experience, knowledge and the tools necessary to help them accomplish their dreams and hopes as well as constantly improving themselves to be better Muslims, better citizens and better representative of their religion.

As to what will be offered to our youth at FNO during class, the material will be based on some Ayat from the Quran as well as the Hadith of our beloved Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon Him) along with the science of positive psychology and life coaching to be the source of motivation, guidance and engorgement to them in their life and to help tackle some of their issues and hopefully and provide the support they need to overcome their issues and challenges. Mostly the class time would be a fun based discussion, exchange of ideas, developing friendship and healthy environment for the youth at the Masjid, geared toward the youth challenges, dreams, how to use their skills to better serve their community as well as how to deal with and overcome any relevant issues they currently need help with.

Finally, I would definingly love to have the parents’ feedbacks and suggestions to help guide me to what is best for our youth. Your corporation is much appreciated.
